Westview has been a family favorite for generations and offers several apple varieties for U-pick from mid-August until the end of October. Youngsters can also enjoy an outdoor petting area, a giant slide, and picking their own pumpkins later in the fall.

Crane Orchards | Fennville

From Labor Day until the end of the season, guests can visit this Fennville favorite to pick from Crane’s large variety of apples. What’s even better is you can taste test different varieties before picking. Take a walk to the fields or ride in a golf cart and spend an afternoon surrounded by apples.

  1. It would be so helpful for those who don’t know Michigan well to have a map showing where these activities are. We are visiting in October, but without looking up each town individually, I don’t know if any are near the places we will be. Just a basic map would show me and then I could look up the spot near my travels.

    1. That’s exactly the comment I came to write. I’m planning a week-long road trip from Cincinnati to the UP and back. I’ve found tons of helpful info from Awesome Mitten. A simple map with article would be very much appreciated.
