About Flights of Flavor

A wide range of food and drink establishments throughout the greater Grand Rapids area, including restaurants, coffee houses, ice cream shops, and breweries, are offering specially crafted flight menus that not only tantalize the taste buds but also captivate the visual imagination of guests as part of Experience Grand Rapids’ Flights of Flavor campaign that started in June 2023.

Flights of Flavor emphasizes both taste and presentation, offering guests a diverse array of flavors and styles in one sitting for a memorable dining experience. More than 30 participating venues have joined the initiative, creating enticing flight menus that include options like cupcake flights, pizza flights, margarita flights, soju flights, cider cocktail slushie flights, oyster and cocktail flights, biscuit and cocktail flights, and more.

To enhance the experience, guests ordering Flights of Flavor dishes can check in on their smartphones to earn points, which can be redeemed for exclusive merchandise or donated to the scholarship fund at the GRCC Secchia Institute for Culinary Education.

The campaign aims to celebrate not only the flavors but also the style of dining, creating excitement around every flight and supporting businesses in their culinary endeavors.

28th Street Bistro
