Connie’s Cafe | Ossineke
For decades, it hasn’t been uncommon to see Connie’s parking lot full on weekend mornings. The huge and delicious cinnamon rolls at this Alpena-area eatery are a big reason why.
They’re so big that they fill a takeout container and they’re said to be as big as a customer’s face. Connie’s splits a fresh roll in half, grills it in butter, sticks the halves back together, and then covers the whole thing in sweet icing.
Come early if you want one because they sell out fast.

McPherson’s Family Restaurant | Millington
