Dazzling light displays can be found all around Michigan during the holiday season, but SkyBridge Michigan hopes to treat visitors to truly spectacular, one-of-a-kind views of the bridge during the winter months.
Lights in the Sky at SkyBridge Michigan
SkyBridge offers astounding panoramic views all year long, but visitors who really enjoy holiday light displays can soak up the wonderous SkyBridge views as well as the holiday spirit during the Lights in the Sky event.
The event for the upcoming holiday seasons runs from November 7, 2024 to April 30, 2025
The event, which is part of SkyBridge’s holiday programming, features more than 150,000 colorful, sparkling holiday lights. Visitors can take a scenic stroll across the longest timber-towered suspension bridge in the world, feeling the crunch of the snow underfoot, and the crisp chill of winter in the air as they marvel had thousands of twinkling lights.
Visitors who are walking the bridge can look down below them to see skiers zipping down Boyne Mountain’s Ramshead run as they traverse the bridge with an amazing display of lights in front of them.

Lights in the Sky is just one part of SkyBridge’s holiday programming near Petoskey, which includes a Thanksgiving buffet dinner, an annual holiday open house, a Christmas Eve dinner with Santa, a Christmas Day buffet, and a New Year’s Eve Party.
The annual Holiday Open House includes lots of great complimentary activities for guests. Visitors of all ages will delight in walks across SkyBridge, scenic chairlift rides, a hot cocoa event with the Grinch, a Grinchmas meet and greet, and pictures with Santa.
