Michigan is a love affair that will never get old. I grew up in beautiful Traverse City, went to college and lived in East Lansing and Lansing, and I am now falling head over heels for Detroit. I never thought I could adore any place more than Northern Michigan, but Detroit is taking up a big place in my heart.
It is my belief that life is too short for bad coffee, lousy wine, and poorly crafted beer. This means, Michigan is the perfect place for me with its wildly passionate artisans of quality and innovative libations. Michiganders are some of the luckiest folks to be in the midst of such talented individuals right in our own communities. We have some pretty awesome neighbors.
I spend my time working on uplifting the voices of small businesses in Detroit and Southeast Michigan and studying Library and Information Science at Wayne State University. For fun, I am exploring Detroit, sailing on Lake St. Clair, and planning my next trip up north.
