East Hills Business Association Celebrates Michigan Made Day 2013

Michigan Made Day - The Awesome MittenOn Saturday April 27, the East Hills Business Association will host “Michigan Made Day,” an event to celebrate local businesses that offer products made in the Mitten State.   Located east of downtown Grand Rapids, the East Hills neighborhood is home to a number of local boutiques, restaurants, bars, and art galleries.  Businesses participating in Michigan Made Day include BreweryVivant, Hop Scotch Children’s Store, Peninsula Trading, and Yours Truly Galleria.

During Michigan Made Day, each business will host its own events and promotions.  The event will also include carnival-style games and competitions and a children’s photo shoot where kids get to dress up as a super hero or princess. Meanwhile, for anyone looking to quench their thirst, Under the Vines will host beer and wine tastings in addition to supplying food samples.

For a full list of participating businesses, visit East Hills Business Association’s Facebook page.
