Just a hop, skip, and jump away, the SS Milwaukee Clipper Preservation is a really neat, old passenger ship that you can tour. Enjoy taking a step back in time to learn about its history dating back to 1904. If you need a little more Muskegon history in your day, the Hackley & Hume Historic Site is less than 10 minutes away. This gorgeous house that you can tour is from the late 1800s and is an amazing example of Victorian architecture.

About 10 minutes down the road, Pere Marquette Park is a peaceful place to enjoy some sunshine and fresh air. After enjoying the white sands and beautiful view of the lighthouse, head on over to The Deck for a bite to eat. Not only does it offer barbecue and craft brews, but also live music on the weekends plus a view of the water to enjoy. Then, you can grab a little pick-me-up to keep your day going at The Coffee Factory. Order a tea, coffee, or try one of the food options.

The Station Grill is a very unique restaurant option that is about 5 minutes away. Visit the remodeled 1940s service station, that offers a fun, retro atmosphere with a wide variety of burgers and more. If you’re looking for a menu option that is a little more upscale, travel less than 10 minutes to The Lake House Waterfront Grille and Event Center. This spot offers high-end food with a relaxed atmosphere. After dinner, finish your day at the Getty Drive-in and enjoy a double feature showing on one of the four movie screens. Enjoy the show your way with the option to sit inside or outside of your car. Plus, visit their concessions or have your snacks delivered to you.
