After seeing Queen Bee, Alex Beaton, post WittPrint 3D‘s iPhone cases on Instagram, High Five Threads co-owner, Lance Hill, knew that he wanted to carry these in his store. High Five Threads represents all the creativity that Michigan has to offer, and this will be the first phone accessory that they carry.
Hill was especially drawn to these cases because not only do they represent Michigan, but they were made in Michigan. This, says Hill, is a rarity. ” So much of the accessory market is mass produced in China that it’s awesome to see 3D printing technology come to the point of being able to produce small run custom accessories like these cases,” he stated.
In addition, Ben Wittbrodt of WittPrint 3D creates custom-made iPhone cases. High Five Threads and WittPrint 3D will be collaborating to make a custom phone case specifically for High Five Threads’ customers. Personally, I am stoked to see what these creative gentlemen come up with.
