The Great Fox Brew Ha Ha, hosted by Clear Channel and 101.3 Fox radio, is about to embark on their fourth consecutive year in production.  On January 20th and 21st, The DeltaPlex will host Brew Ha Ha in a two-day beer and comedy festival.  The DeltaPlex is located at 2500 Turner Avenue in Grand Rapids.  Brew Ha Ha runs from 3pm to 10pm on Friday the 20th and from 12pm to 10pm on Saturday the 21st.

The Great Fox Brew Ha Ha aims to showcase the grand love and passion for craft beer in West Michigan.  The new breweries popping up and local favorites have grown to hold a large portion of the entertainment scene in Grand Rapids.  Brew Ha Ha provides a showcase for these breweries to advertise their craft and share their passion for the industry.  Additionally, Brew Ha Ha’s mission encompasses entertainment, a fond respect of craft beer and Michigan breweries, responsibility, and education about the craftsmanship involved.

In between the presentation of craft beer and samplings, Brew Ha Ha will host local and national comedians in a stand-up slot type.  The two headlining comedians are Shane Mauss and Kyle Kinane.  The local West Michigan-based comedians include: Stu McCallister, Corey Tucker, DK Hamilton, and Ben Wilke.  Mauss and Kinane have both been featured nationally on Comedy Central, Live at Gotham, Late Night with Conan O’Brien and many others.  Along with the beer and laughs, local bands will perform smaller sets of entertainment.  These bands include: Mark Sala, Simien the Whale, Wallace Collective, Sidetrack, and more!

Brew Ha Ha is slated to feature over 100 craft beers from more than 40 different breweries in Michigan, the United States, and internationally.  Craft Beer Seminars will feature educational workshops on topics that include “Beer and Chocolate” and “Home Brewing 101.”  The breweries that can be expected at The Great Fox Brew Ha Ha include:
