In Michigan, where there’s craft beer, there’s usually a beard. And thanks to Damn Handsome Grooming Company, where there’s a beard, you’ll find beer — in soap, shampoo, beard oil, and other grooming products designed to enhance and care for the modern man.
Using by-products from the craft brewing industry, husband-and-wife team Jarrett and Bridget Blackmon have designed a variety of personal grooming products from sustainable, natural ingredients. From soap to shampoo to body bars, as well as beard balms and beard oils, their products use spent grains or beer from Michigan breweries.
Everything is hand-crafted in small batches, full of vitamins, minerals, non-comedogenic oils and, of course, hops and beer! Scented products smell fresh and light, not heavy or purfumy. Damn Handsome means damn good grooming.
While the company started with a focus on men’s grooming, they have also introduced products everyone can enjoy, such as bar and hand soaps, Tattoo Rescue skin balm, Hoppy Mint Lip Balm, and a popular “Young & Broke, but talented“ coffee mug.
Damn Handsome started in Kalamazoo and has quickly spread across the country. Products can be found in stores from California to Maine and in dozens of places in between. In Michigan, you’ll find Damn Handsome products at many locations across the state:
