I’m sitting at work, just returning from an awesome long weekend, and Googling “Jobs that Let Me Hang Out Outside All Day” (don’t tell my boss). After a week of sunshine, the fluorescent lights and overflowing inbox are bumming me out. Luckily for me, the 14th annual Common Ground Music Festival is taking place down the street!
The 2013 Festival started on Monday, July 8 and will run until Sunday, July 14. There’s no better way to ease back into the work grind than hanging out with friends and grabbing a couple of drinks while listening to anyone from Ludacris to The Avett Brothers to Little Big Town. With three different stages and a diverse range of artists, there’s definitely something for everyone.
While I continue my Google search, check out this year’s lineup:
Wednesday, July 10: Slash, Sevendust, Monster Truck, Echoes of Pink Floyd, Wilson, DeverauX, Red Stone Souls, Know Lyfe, Almost Kings
Thursday, July 11: Little Big Town, Randy Houser, Kari Lynch Band, Phoenix Stone, Von Grey, Julia Sheer, Dean Alexander
Friday, July 12: MGMT, AWOLNATION, twenty | one | pilots, Foxy Shazam, The Soil and the Sun, Leagues, Joe Hertler and the Rainbow Seekers, Mike Mains and the Branches, Flint Eastwood, Lights and Caves, The Silent Disco
