Currently I am a student at Albion College, studying Business and Management as a member of the honors business college. I like to think of myself as an aspiring entrepreneur, hoping to start my own business someday. Albion is a small college in a small town, but I enjoy the community where you know most of the people you see by name. I also am very involved in the Ski and Snowboard Club, and take great pride in being the most tenured member.
I have loved to explore new and exciting things since I was young, and I have a great appreciation for nature and the outdoors. I have many hobbies that I enjoy seasonally. In the warmer months, I love to go fishing and disc golfing. While they are generally leisure sports, I tend to get quite competitive. I am also a huge fan of wake boarding, but it is a very physically demanding activity, so I can’t handle it more than a couple times a week. I really like to just relax outdoors and enjoy the company of friends. There is nothing more enjoyable than a bonfire on a clear summer night. I love to go snowboarding in the winter, but other than that, I am not a huge fan of cold weather. You can often find me playing video games, listening to music, waiting for springtime to roll around. I am the guy with the overkill subwoofer; if you have ever had someone like me as a neighbor, then you already hate me!
Growing up in Ann Arbor made it really easy for me to appreciate all that Michigan has to offer. It is a very visually attractive and pedestrian friendly town, full of beautiful trees and diverse cultural opportunities. I like to think that Michigan has a lot more natural beauty than the more industrialized Midwest states. There are many scenic inland lakes as well as the Great Lakes, and we get the best of all four seasons.
