As temperatures slowly descend to a chilly 81 degrees, one begins to consider the implications of summer’s end.
Have I done everything I wanted to do? Have I squeezed in as many outdoor activities as I possibly could have?
If the answer is no, then I do believe your opportunity is happening this Saturday!
The WGRD Summer Craft Beer Festival, located at John Ball Park, is the perfect event to help you squeeze in the great outdoors, good food, great beer, brew seminars and live music, all before the leaves start changing.
For $12 pre-sale (or $15 if you buy them the day of), you get four drink tickets and a commemorative mug for your brewed delights, but good luck using only the included tickets since over twenty breweries will be represented at the festival!
If you develop an appetite after your peruse the offerings of Founders, Magic Hat, Great Lakes, Thirsty Dog or Arcadia (just to name a few), then indulge in the food offerings, including Skywalk Deli, Arturo’s Tacos, Twisted Rooster and Mad Dogs.
The festivities will be from 1 to 9 p.m. and ID’s will be checked at the entrance. Tickets are available at your local D&W Fresh Markets in most west Michigan locations.
Make sure you get yours and I’ll see you Saturday, rain or shine! After an event like this, your summer will definitely feel complete.
